Perfect PRP®

Not all PRP is created equal.

PRP isn't just what's in the syringe. It's how the blood is processed, the concentration you achieve, the dose you deliver, the diagnosis, the placement, and the biology you're asking to heal.

Know what you’re injecting.

Instead of “Did I inject PRP?” ask: what did I inject, how much did I deliver, where did I put it, and why?

After more than 30 years as an orthopedic surgeon and years in regenerative medicine, I became convinced that we needed to stop talking about PRP as though every PRP treatment were the same. Two clinicians can both say they're performing “PRP” while preparing dramatically different products and delivering very different platelet doses.

Traditional PRP can become a simple sequence: draw the blood, spin it, inject what comes out. But what is the platelet concentration? What is the total dose? Is the volume right for the tissue? Did you identify the correct pain generator? Are you delivering it to the right structure, in a biological environment that can heal?

Those questions became the foundation of the Perfect PRP® Method. It isn't a kit. It isn't a centrifuge. It's a methodology: a systematic way of thinking about the entire treatment.

  1. Preparation

How PRP is prepared matters. We teach a double-spin methodology designed to produce a highly concentrated PRP product for musculoskeletal applications. The goal isn’t simply to produce something called PRP. It’s to know what you’re producing.

  2. Concentration

PRP is not one standardized product. Different systems produce significantly different platelet concentrations. Our target is approximately 1.8 billion platelets per cc, and we teach you to evaluate what you create rather than rely on the name of a kit or centrifuge.

  3. Dosing

Concentration and dose are not the same thing. Know the concentration and the volume, and you can think about the total platelets delivered. Not “I injected 3 cc,” but “what was the actual platelet dose?”

  4. Diagnosis

The best PRP in the world won’t compensate for treating the wrong problem. We teach evaluation, examination, imaging, diagnostic injections, patient selection, and treatment planning. Treat the pathology, not simply the location of the pain.

  5. Placement

Once you’ve created the biologic, it needs to go where it needs to go. The method includes both ultrasound-guided and landmark-guided techniques. Accuracy matters.

  6. Biology

You can prepare excellent PRP and place it perfectly, but the patient’s body still does the healing. We cover overall health, rehabilitation, mechanical stimulation, recovery, and post-procedure management. Don’t just inject the tissue. Create an environment that supports healing.
